Underlay | flexigel damping

Flexigel damping is a primary deck covering for sound damping. Its main purpose is to reduce structural vibration significantly, due to its permanent viscoelastic characteristics.

It is normally topped by a levelling compound (mainly flexigel alleggerito or flexiplast HW) to achieve the required thickness and the necessary levelling.

IMO-certified for application in thicknesses up to 1.5-2 mm.

Suggested when:

A soundproofing underlay is required for acoustic isolation
The metallic substrate must be protected by corrosion
The covered area is exposed to annoying sounds or noises
The floor must withstand stress ad shocks
The floor has decorative finishings
The underlay is required for multi-layer coverings
